I meant to keep a weblog of my travels. I settled for emailing, and even that didn’t really cut it. I spent more tiome writing emails than doing stuff to write about, and let’s be honest, writing emails isn’t something that’ll keep the grandkids amused in years to come.

On the other hand, dicing with death in seedy Hungarian bars is probably going to scare them shitless, but at least they’ll be entertained (and doubtless prevent me from having to babysit for a long time to come).

I did get a few emails out along the way, and here are slightly edited versions of those for your collective amusement. I still intend to put up the full collection, the full writings of all of it at some point when I get time. It’ll be good for me, and hopefully it’ll amuse all of you too…
