		<description>Your comparison between stage performance and blogging is interesting. I&#039;ve been thinking a lot about performance over the last while and trying to understand it in terms of both impulse and reception.

It&#039;s such an ancient and familiar ritual for a bunch of humans to gather round and watch/listen while a smaller bunch of humans, (or just one human) does something.

As a sometime performer myself, I&#039;m interested to discover why I do it. As yet, I don&#039;t know.
